About

We are licensed by the state of Georgia and possess a Federal Migratory permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to perform taxidermy services on game birds and protected migratory birds.

Iā€™m Ron Hutchinson and I have been hunting and fishing since I was a small boy following close in my grandfathers footsteps.

My Grandfather instilled in me a love for the outdoors and hunting at an early age, and I have taken this love a step further by recreating the look for others in a bird mount- the same look I would want if I had a bird mounted that I took in the field.

I have a diverse background of studies. Living in Georgia and Tennessee, I was a professional wildlife and conservation/commercial photographer and studied fine art at AAU. I also have a degree in forestry and wildlife conservation with special studies in waterfowl migration and habitat, and have studied under both state and national bird champion taxidermists for waterfowl and turkeys.

All of my time in the field as a hunter and photographer has allowed me to study birds intensely and become more aware of correct anatomy and color tones. I mounted my first bird, a flying turkey, back in 2006. And like a lot of other people, I played around with the idea of becoming a taxidermist. Through the years I have mounted more birds for myself and friends, and have decided to settle down and do this thing that I enjoy so much, recreating life-like, realistic bird mounts for other sportsmen like myself.
